For those that are unable to catch their own or just don't want to spend time cooking while on holiday there are Take away bars, Cafes & Restaurants, Hotels and Lodges offering a wide range of Seafood meals. Eating places are available to satisfy anyone's appetite with food to suit all tastes. SEAFEST

The KAIKOURA SEAFEST is a unique festival, celebrating the bounty of the Kaikoura region and is held annually on the first Saturday of October. 
It offers an opportunity to sample an extravaganza of food and beverages from all over the region. 
A wide range of continuous top class entertainment for all ages and tastes is provided to guarantee a fun filled day for everyone to enjoy.
